This was a kitchen designed, as per the customer's brief, to include a Rennie Macintosh theme.

Solid oak flat panelled doors were inlaid with small squares of walnut reflecting a design style from the late 19th and early 20th c. All of the oak in this kitchen was 'fumed' - a process which darkens the timber, bringing out beautiful contrasts and hues.

The beauty of oak

This fully hand built oak kitchen with raised and fielded panels was commissioned in Devon.

The carcasses made to measure and hand lacquered, recipe book shelved units lined with beaded tongue and groove paneling, cornice mouldings made to specific requirements of the client, a large mantle adorned the recess for the Aga stove and even made to measure pull out towel rails filled one of those awkward 'wasted' spaces.

More often than not, a design brief can be fulfilled in its entirety no matter how demanding the specifications.

Even onboard your yacht!

A Dutch steel yacht from the 1960's was completely gutted on the interior and redesigned and fitted out over a two year period.

The galley (right) was constructed with space at a premium. However, the result; lacquered beech, polished granite and brushed stainless steel, was equipped with double oven, gas hob, American style fridge freezer and a dishwasher - all in a space approximately 3 metres x 3 metres
